It’s been a great week behind the scenes here at Maine Internet Radio. We are launching a brand new radio station, our seventh! It is Nice and Easy. The format is just what the title of the station says.

Brian Nadeau, long-time musician and contributor to Wreaths Across America Radio is the producer and hosts the channel. You’ll also hear a lot of voices that were on Bangor radio back in the days of WPBC-FM, 92.9. More from Brian next week as we launch the new station.

Meanwhile, make sure to click on the link to listen. Of course, tell your friends. We will update our commercial spot, which runs on the Nite Show, with Danny Cashman, in the near future.

Here’s News From our fabulous programmer of Mainely ’70s, Steve G:

First, thank you again to Kim for allowing this dream of mine to make it to reality. Over the past three weeks, I’ve been tweaking, adding, subtracting, and scratching my head. Will it be perfect? Nah. But I’m enjoying it. I’ve had some great people helping me.

The lineup will be:

Monday – Friday

  • Rick Foster – Midnight to 9 a.m.
  • Yours truly from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
  • Fran Bouchard – 12 – 6 p.m.
  • Cheese Radio’s Bill DaButler – 6 p.m. to midnight

Weekends

  • Rick – Midnight – 6 a.m.
  • Me – 6 a.m. – 12 p.m.
  • Bill – 12 – 6 p.m.
  • Fran – 6 p.m. – midnight

If you haven’t tuned in, I’d appreciate it if you did some time. Leave me some feedback. With so many choices to listen to, I’m happy with what I’ve come up with and hope to have a good balance of hits, rock, soul, disco, and country. Just like the golden days of top 40 radio.

As always we appreciate your feedback and would like you to make sure to patronize our sponsors. Without them, we cannot continue to do what we do. It does cost money to operate an internet radio station, so sponsorships help us pay the bills. Let our sponsors know you heard them on Maine Internet Radio. It goes a long way to helping us maintain and grow in the future.

We are always open to suggestions & requests!

Make sure to contact us through our web page or Facebook page. We are also a bit old school and still have a landline here! It’s actually good for business, so we kept it. The number is (207) 942-1826. We actually share it with our sister business Digital Workshop, a video production company.

Make sure to tell us where you are listening from and what your favorite station is. Until next week, thanks again for listening to Maine Internet Radio and keep spreading the word. We really do have an amazing lineup of talent and need to let everyone know that our stations are out there for FREE.

Thank you!
