Drawing from over 50 years of alternative, underground, progressive, new wave, grunge, indie, shoe gaze and new rock, Kim Mitchell hosts Mainely Alternative. On the air since 1974, Kim has experienced many changes in alt music over the years. It has shaped the life of so many.

On Mainely Alternative, we focus on the ever changing new music scene throughout the day, with more of an emphasis on some of the classics of the past at night. We keep it refreshed on a weekly basis, always adding new music to the mix. You will hear Kim on the air every weekday beginning at 9:00 AM Eastern.
