All right, if you look at the title of our previous blog, you see that it was the first blog of 2021. We were so proud. Look at us! We did a blog!
What Happened?
In short, life. All of us at Maine Internet Radio have focused on the programming of the stations. The blog, well, it fell behind. For that, our sincerest apologies go out to you.
You deserve better. We want to deliver better. No, we want to deliver the best to you. We will try harder. If we slip, hold my feet to the fire.
Since that blog in January, a lot happened at Maine Internet Radio. Our stations keep growing. We continue to add new local advertisers. They are vital in the success of MIR.
One of the first things that we did with the new advertisers was to get rid of the clutter of the national ads on three of our stations. No more Jamie from Progressive! No more Mario Andretti asking America to have lunch with him on Mainely ’70s, Nice & Easy, and Cheese Radio.
This allows us to focus exclusively on our local advertisers and have only 1-2 breaks per hour. For example, on Mainely ’70s, there is one break of 2-3 ads per hour from 6 a.m.-10 p.m. We truly appreciate our local advertisers, and we encourage you to use their services.
